Laboratory Hazards & Equipment

On February 2, 2015 the contract firm employee (CFE) was dispensing .01N Sulfuric Acid from a 5L bottle to 500ml containers.  The bottle broke causing a laceration to the employee’s finger.  The contract firm employee pulled a help alarm, local emergency response responded.  The spill was cleaned up and appropriate treatment was rendered.
