Employee Hits Head on Sink

An Employee, working in a cafeteria, was walking to the time clock to check out for lunch.  On his way, his thermometer dropped from his pocket and slid underneath a stainless steel sink.  In a rush, he reached down to pick it up and hit his temple on the sink.

Factors to consider at your site or on your project include, but are not limited to, the following:

  1. Make sure that you have items secured when storing them.
  2. Take time to reassess the situation when tasks do not go as planned.
  3. Be aware of your surroundings and know what dangers may be there.
