Slippery Slope

At approximately 7:00pm an employee was performing a cold weather check on a building that was not currently in use.  As the employee was walking outside of the building, on a path that had not been cleared, the employee stepped off a curb.  As he stepped off, he misjudged the location of the curb, cusing his to roll his ankle.

Factors to consider at your site and/or project include, but not limited to the following:

Report unsafe situations immediately so they can be corrected.
Do not walk in areas that are slick or have not been cleared of snow.

Consider this example as you complete today’s work activities.
